Sustainably harvested from endangered Mizunara trees in the pristine landscapes of Northern Japan's Hokkaido prefecture, each tree reaches an impressive 200 years of age before being carefully selected for harvest. This stringent criterion ensures that only the largest trees, capable of producing straight wood suitable for crafting barrel staves, are chosen.
